Finally, the video for Empire State Of Mind dropped. I pretty much expected it to be like it was, but it was really good for what I originally expected. They should’ve added lil mama for like extra props or something. Now that’s a knee slapper.

As many know, yesterday the BET hip-hop awards came on TV last night. I didn’t watch for various reasons, 1)i didn’t even know it was coming on 2)why would i? 3) and as i said on twitter black people let me down enough i rather not.4)with a twitter, award shows become pointless

Another thing I heard about alot last night were the cyphers which I can tell by the videos were the best part of the videos. Nicki of course just killed it. Drake called her the best female rapper and as of now there is no one coming close. She gets everything just down pact. MOS DEFFFF <333333333333333333333333, Eminem my goshh he is just going soo hard this year killing everything he is on! The cypher with Mos Def,Black Thought, & Eminem was probably the only REAL hip-hop thing of the show, well that I saw. Y’all know how I feel about Wale wouldn’t be right if I didn’t post the cypher with him,looking for his performance though heard he killed it but that was just #dmv people talk. What can I say? We’re biased. Nipsey hussle is someone i’ve heard of for sometime, I just never listeened to his music but he seems nice.

Most have probably seen this, but I’m not exactly a big TV watcher so I missed the all day premiere of Chris Brown’s new video. I LOVEEE it. For the first time it seems like he tried not to mimic a MJ video and stepped into his own lane. it’s legit though!! I really like the song anyway, so I think the video did a good job by not being bland.

Today Rihanna released the promotional video for her up and coming album Rated R and also released her new single Russian Roulette. And of course, everyone waited and cared but I’m trying to figure out for what. The video continues to say the wait is over, WHAT WAIT?!!! WHO WAS WAITING FOR YOU?!!!!! I find it funny how I guess she figures her stardom is that big that she can release a song a couple of weeks before her album drops and still do well. And with a single like Russian Roulette [which i will post] I don’t think she will find what she is looking for. This song is CREEPY! It’s not up tempo and/or catchy enough to catch anyone’s attention. More power to ya homegirl for trying but really?!

Alicia Keys recently dropped the video for her new song ‘Doesn’t Mean Anything’ I like the song but personally, I believe her voice is not as strong as it usually is. Alicia looks bad, that was a given. I liked the video till the little rock climbing i’m on top of the world part. Awkward? I also really liked the black jacket she was wearing and the glass piano, something I would love to have around the house just because it’s a glass piano.
right after i say i havent seen anything that grabed my attention i saw this baned heinken commercial. I love it, although I can’t decide if I like the commercial or the Mariah Carey in the background.
